Hon Chris Bishop: To date there have been 20 applications seeking exemption to the plan stop provisions received by the Ministry for the Environment. As of 26 September, One application for a proposed planning instrument has been granted an exemption, and no applications for either proposed or draft planning instruments have been declined an exemption.
