45327 (2025). Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Minister of Health: What equity analysis, if any, has been conducted to assess the impact of underfunding Māori and Iwi health providers on Māori health outcomes?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that Health New Zealand is reviewing investments across national, regional, and life-course areas to better target future funding to where it is most needed. This work is part of our focus on putting patients first and ensuring all New Zealanders, including Māori, have access to timely, quality healthcare.
