Hon Louise Upston: The Chief Executive of Eden Park has stated that each event held at the venue results in the employment of over 3,000 people. Further employment opportunities would be generated if Eden Park’s capacity is expanded, as more staff would be required to support event operations. The total number of jobs created would depend on the scale and frequency of additional events enabled by any expansion of Eden Park’s capacity.
