ACC would also consider other transport options, such as buses, ride shares with natural supports, or paying mileage. For a 36km round commute over 190 school days, ACC estimates the cost to be around $20,000 per annum. Any allowance received from the Ministry of Education for school transport would also be deducted from ACC’s contribution.
