45118 (2025). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: How much, if anything, has NZTA collected from speed cameras infringement notices since 1 July 2025?

Hon Chris Bishop: Between 1 July 2025 and 31 August 2025, NZTA has collected $2.27 million from the payment of safety camera infringement notices. This included fines from safety camera infringement notices issued prior to 1 July 2025. All payments of safety camera infringement notices are transferred from NZTA to the Crown Consolidated Fund.
