Vanushi Walters to the Minister of Justice: What meetings or communications, if any, did he have with or receive from any person or organisation other than a Minister regarding disqualifying all prisoners from voting during the period of ministerial consultations referred to in an aide memoire dated 2 April 2025 entitled “Aide memoire: Suite of electoral reform papers for Cabinet Social Outcomes Committee”, listed by date and person?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: Ministerial consultation on the suite of electoral reform papers occurred in March 2025. I communicated with my staff and officials regarding the disqualification of prisoners from voting during this time. Meetings I attend are publicly available on the beehive.govt.nz website.
