Hon Penny Simmonds: At my meeting with Farmers and Growers on 14 August 2025 we discussed the farmers' concerns about the renewal process for their consents being followed by Horizons Regional Council, and the impact this is having on their ability to grow their business, upgrade equipment and invest in new technology.
