Hon Matt Doocey: I am advised that Health New Zealand is in the very early stages of its mental health and addition system redesign work programme. The first priority for this work is services for infants, children, and youth. I am further advised that initial communication with the sector regarding this work started earlier this year. This will be followed by an extensive consultation process which will involve a range of key groups, including but not limited to lived experience networks, clinicians, NGOs, Iwi Māori Partnership Boards, and other relevant community stakeholder groups.
