44856 (2024). Ingrid Leary to the Minister for Mental Health: With regard to reply 43994, how are they judging where the greatest professional need is, specifically, within the Mental Health and Addiction workforce?

Hon Matt Doocey: I am advised that Health New Zealand’s workforce development activity has multiple drivers, including its own workforce data, and NGO and community mental health and addiction workforce data, to understand workforce development need and assess training numbers required.
