44827 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What is the median turnaround time for full pathology results to be returned on cancers diagnosed at Wellington Hospital?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that between 1 January 2025 and 14 October 2025, the median turnaround time was 13 days - an improvement on 2023, when this number was 14. My expectation is that patients receive their results in a timely manner.
