44759 (2024). Ingrid Leary to the Minister for Mental Health: Will the coming mental health unit in Greymouth, replacing the existing Manaakitanga Unit with fewer beds, mean job cuts?

Hon Matt Doocey: I am advised by Health New Zealand, that the demographic driven projections show that the new number of beds is sufficient. I am further advised that reductions to clinical roles within the Mental Health Ringfence are not being contemplated.
