44753 (2025). Teanau Tuiono to the Minister of Defence: Further to PWQ 43168 Does the Minister think that human rights violations are happening in Gaza and if so, will this preclude companies that have enabled those violations and if not why not?

Hon Judith Collins: New Zealand is gravely concerned about the situation in Gaza, and these concerns are well-established on the public record. As previously advised, Government agencies are responsible for undertaking due diligence that is appropriate for the specific procurement and in line with the Government Procurement Rules regarding human rights violations.
