I am advised by Health New Zealand that this table provides information as at 31 March 2024 from the Health Workforce Information Programme (HWIP), which holds data on the district-employed workforce, and provides a national, regional, and local picture of the health and disability sector workforce. I am further advised that HWIP collects data at the end of each quarter, and data as at 31 March 2024 is the most current data available. It includes permanent and fixed term employees. "
