Hon Mark Mitchell: Police continually monitor the international security situation, including the Israel/Hamas conflict, and undertake threat assessments for affected communities residing in or entering New Zealand. Tactical deployment decisions remain an operational and confidential matter for the Commissioner of Police to protect the integrity of any specific measures.
