Hon Simeon Brown: Corrected reply: The Government is committed to doubling the amount of renewable energy generated, that is why we are implementing the Fast Track Legislation which will make a significant difference in enabling more renewable generation. As this matter is dealt with across a significant amount of advice I have received, I refer the Member to the MBIE website where the titles of briefing I have received are listed: Energy | Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment (mbie.govt.nz)
