44586 (2025). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: What was the value, if any, of state homes sold in Counties Manukau since 1 July 2024 and how much, if any, of those funds were invested in new state homes built in Counties Manukau?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advise me that the total proceeds from sales in Counties Manukau since 1 July 2024 was $17,833,799 (as at 31 August 2025). Money from the sale of Kāinga Ora homes is used to deliver new, fit-for-purpose homes that are the right size, in the right location and which better meet the changing needs of our tenants.
