44577 (2024). Rt Hon Chris Hipkins to the Minister of Health: Does he stand by his claim that there are fourteen layers of management between senior leaders at Health New Zealand and patients, and if so, what are those fourteen layers by approximate job title and salary band?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I stand by the Prime Minister’s statement that, in some instances, there can be up to 14 positions between senior leadership and patients. Salary bands vary depending on role.
