Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Associate Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter (January to March 2024) toward the objective ‘Increase the consistency and availability of hepatitis C promotional activities and resources’ under ‘Focus area 1: Awareness and understanding’ in the National Hepatitis C Action Plan?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that Health New Zealand continued to fund access to national hepatitis C including promotional materials, including posters and resources developed for the previous awareness campaign. I am further advised that regional hepatitis C services use these materials on a regular basis.
