Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Associate Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter (January to March 2024) toward the objective ‘Increase the linkage of diagnosed cases of hepatitis C with treatment’ under ‘Focus area 4: Surveillance and monitoring’ in the National Hepatitis C Action Plan?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that the Hepatitis C Support and Treatment Regional Service prototype was launched in the Northern Region. I am further advised that lists of patients who have fallen off community pathways have been triaged with follow-up where they meet referral criteria.
