Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Associate Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter (January to March 2024) has been made toward actioning ‘Social marketing and programmes for communities at risk of HIV’ under Focus area 2: Combination prevention and health promotion actions as recommended in the National HIV Action Plan?

Hon Matt Doocey: I am advised during that the January to March 2024 quarter, work was progressed by the new kaupapa Māori peer-led organisation Toitū te Ao to connect and empower Māori living with HIV. This organisation is funded through HIV Action Plan implementation funding.
