Hon Mark Mitchell: As the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery, I regularly request and receive advice from officials on matters relating to my Emergency Management and Recovery portfolio. I received the following documents from officials in the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC) between 8-12 September 2025: • Approval of Non-Departmental Appropriation Report and Draft Annual Report Review, 9 September 2025 • Minister’s Meeting with Steve Fischer CEO Surf Lifesaving NZ, 10 September 2025. I also received one additional document within the specified timeframe; however, it is not in the public interest to release the title of this document. In addition, staff in my office may informally receive documents, including draft documents, from officials in NEMA and DPMC and from other agencies, and from Ministers’ offices.
