Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Associate Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter (January to March 2024) has been made toward actioning ‘collaboration and integration between health services and community organisations’ under Focus area 3: Testing and linkage to care actions as recommended in the National HIV Action Plan?

Hon Matt Doocey: I am advised during the January to March 2024 quarter, HIV service providers continued to deliver scaled up innovative HIV testing funded by HIV Action Plan implementation funding. This included delivering rapid point-of-care testing in a range of settings and strengthening collaboration and integration between health services and community organisations. ESR also progressed a review of innovative HIV testing methods, approaches and settings to inform new options for innovative testing.
