44405 (2025). Hon Rachel Brooking to the Minister for Food Safety: What foods sold in New Zealand are the highest in PFAS?

Hon Andrew Hoggard: I am advised that recent testing by New Zealand Food Safety (NZFS) found no detectable levels of PFAS in any food tested. Without evidence of exposure to PFAS through foods, the risk of PFAS from the diet is presumed to be negligible to the New Zealand public.
