Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made this quarter (January to March 2024) in implementing ‘Design and delivery of passive digital components (e.g. comms rooms, structured cabling) and engineering systems (e.g. BMS, Security) by the Main Contractor’ as part of Te Whatu Ora’s National Digital Facilities Framework?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the January to March 2024 quarter, the building of communication rooms and installation of structured cabling commenced for the New Dunedin Hospital and is progressing to plan.
