44404 (2025). Hon Rachel Brooking to the Minister for Food Safety: What are the long-term health risks of dietary PFAS exposure in New Zealand?

Hon Andrew Hoggard: I am advised that recent testing by New Zealand Food Safety (NZFS) found no detectable levels of PFAS in any food tested. Without evidence of exposure to PFAS through foods, the risk of PFAS from the diet is presumed to be negligible to the New Zealand public.
