44392 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter (January to March 2024) to implement ‘health sector agreements and payments system (HSAAP)’ within Te Whatu Ora, under the Health system reform roadmap - Data and digital?
Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the January to March 2024 quarter, the Health Sector Agreements and Payments Programme (HSAAP) went live along with the new agreements management system ‘Agreements Lifecycle Management’ (ALM). ALM will be used for the ongoing creation and management of agreements to Providers of health and disability community-based care and to health service users. Enhancements to the HSAAP platform were made, including introducing new data and reporting capabilities. Build and testing was also undertaken to move $375 million of PCT (Hospital Pharmaceutical) payments off legacy systems.
