Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised during the January to March 2024 quarter, Health New Zealand worked with districts, regions, and stakeholders to define the national policies for operational access, booking, and waitlist management. I am advised that this work will inform the Planned Care Patient Pathway, which is currently under development. The pathway will provide consistent and monitorable business rules that districts apply to scheduling, regardless of the different systems or responsible roles at a local level.
