Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised during the January to March 2024 quarter, Health New Zealand was working on national policies for consistent access, booking, and waitlist management. This is a significant piece of work that seeks to provide assurance to the public and to clinicians that waiting lists are being managed in a consistent way no matter where a person lives. Booking and scheduling resources are managed at a district level.
