Hon Matt Doocey: I am advised that Health NZ is in the process of developing advice about how uncommitted funding could potentially be used to improve access to mental health and addiction services, in line with the government’s five mental health and addiction targets. I am further advised this work broadly aligns with key findings of the Kua Tīmata Te Haerenga report, including how to best increase acute community services for people, including rangatahi and youth, with more complex needs can access the services they need.
