Hon Nicola Willis: Supermarkets are already required to ensure pricing is not false or misleading under the Fair Trading Act, and must comply with other requirements such as unit pricing regulations. I am exploring strengthening enforcement tools, such as increasing penalties under the Fair Trading Act to improve pricing accuracy and consumer confidence across all sectors.
