44259 (2025). Arena Williams to the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs: Is the Minister considering any initiative in legislation or policy to force banks to reimburse victims of scams which are above the $500,000 limit voluntarily set by the banks?

Hon Scott Simpson: I am looking forward to seeing this scheme rolled out across the banking sector and will consider the effectiveness of the scheme in due course.
