44247 (2025). Arena Williams to the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs: Does the Minister believe that the New Zealand Banking Association's voluntary reimbursement scheme should be retroactive to cover recent years, and if yes, what timeframe?

Hon Scott Simpson: The sector has announced the reimbursement scheme which is not retrospective. I look forward to seeing this scheme rolled out across the banking sector, and I will consider the effectiveness of the scheme in due course.
