Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised the definition of a pothole used by NZTA is "a hole in the surfacing with either a depth greater than 30mm or exposing the underlying pavement, frequently round in shape, resulting from loss of pavement/surfacing material and caused by the action of live traffic."
