44210 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Regulation: Further to his responses to WPQ 43344 and WPQ 43346, why have change and consultation processes already occurred at the Ministry of Regulation, seeing that Ministry was only established on 1 March 2024?

Hon David Seymour: The Ministry undertook a consultation process with its staff between 7 - 23 June with regards to a proposed permanent structure for the Ministry. As the Ministry is committed to good practice the Ministry engaged in a consultation process. This also ensured it met its employment obligations to the permanent employees at the time (those transferred under section 86 Public Service Act 2020).
