Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Science, Innovation and Technology: What consultations are the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, planning to open on the week beginning Monday 1 September 2025 with employees around any changes to employment roles, employment numbers and any other employment conditions, and when is any such consultation expected to close?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: As Minister of Science, Innovation and Technology, I have no responsibility for any government departments. With regard to agencies, Crown entities and any other bodies under the Science, Innovation and Technology portfolio for which I have responsibility I have been advised that there were no consultations planned to open on the week beginning Monday 1 September 2025 with employees around any changes to employment roles, employment numbers and any other employment conditions.
