44150 (2024). Hon Jan Tinetti to the Minister for Regulation: Does the Minister agree with NZEI Te Riu Roa that the early childhood regulatory review could worsen working conditions, remove pay parity and may affect the requirements for qualified teachers; if not, why not?

Hon David Seymour: The purpose of the review is to assess whether the current set of regulations are achieving the right outcomes for early childhood education. It would not be appropriate to speculate the outcome of the review prior to its completion.
