44142 (2024). Hon Jan Tinetti to the Minister of Education: What are the average wait times for accessing learning support services in early childhood services broken down by service and terms between Term 1, 2017 and Term 2, 2024?

Hon Erica Stanford: I refer the Member to the attached table, showing the average wait times (days) for accessing learning support services in schools and early childhood services, broken down by financial year. This data is collated by the Ministry of Education (the Ministry) from reports from Key Performance Indicators specialist services as at 30 June each year, and is unable to be split further into terms. Data collected by the Ministry contains the average number of wait times for the four core services only: Behaviour, Communication, Early Intervention and Ongoing Resourcing Scheme. Please note, data quality is dependent on timely, accurate information being entered into the Ministry’s Case Management System. Operational data is live and subject to change. This is also my response to written parliamentary question 44144 (2024).
