44137 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Associate Minister of Health: Why has the Minister actioned policy that tobacco companies would be 'keen to see happen', but is directly contradictory to advice given from the Ministry of Health?

Hon Casey Costello: What I am keen to see happen is that smokers finding it hard to quit have options available to them that are lower cost and lower risk than cigarettes.
