44097 (2024). Hon Jan Tinetti to the Associate Minister of Education: How many free healthy school lunches, if any, were delivered to eligible schools in the Southland area between January 1, 2024 and June 30, 2024?

Hon David Seymour: I refer the Member to the attached table, showing the number of healthy school lunches delivered to eligible schools in each Education Region between 1 January and 30 June 2024. I am advised by the Ministry of Education that the data is collected by Education Region, and therefore is not available in the full breakdown requested. Please note, the number of lunches is an estimate based on average lunch cost.
