44094 (2024). Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Minister of Health: Does the Minister stand by his statement “There is absolutely no question that New Zealand needs to improve Māori health outcomes”, if so, how will this be achieved?
Hon Dr Shane Reti: Yes. I refer the Member to the Government Policy Statement on Health 2024-27, my recent announcements regarding the setting of new health targets, as well as my speech to Iwi Māori Partnership Boards on 4 July 2024 for further detail on how this Government will achieve improved health outcomes for Māori and all New Zealanders.
