44091 (2024). Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Minister of Health: What updates, if any, has the Minister or his office received from the Ministry of Health on asset and employee transfers since the disestablishment of Te Aka Whai Ora?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that I have not received any briefings from the Ministry of Health regarding asset and employee transfers since the disestablishment of Te Aka Whai Ora on 30 June 2024. I am advised that 13 positions were transferred from the Māori Health Authority to the Ministry of Health in early April 2024, consistent with the Health Sector (Transfers) Act 1993.
