Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Minister of Health: Has the Minister seen the Racism against Māori medical students and professionals widespread Report that highlighted over 90% of Māori students and Māori physicians experience racism, if so, what change, if any, will the Minister take to address this issue?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: Yes, and I am advised that Health New Zealand’s Te Mauri o Rongo Steering group is now established and Te Mauri o Rongo e-learning modules produced. The e-learning modules go live in August. I also refer the Member to Written parliamentary Questions 2122 and 37525 (2024).
