Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: During the week of 8 July to 13 July 2024, Rt Hon Winston Peters was Acting Prime Minister. This response is based on advice from officials submitted to either the Prime Minister or the Acting Prime Minister. As Prime Minister, I regularly request and receive advice from officials on a range of matters. Between 8 July and 12 July 2024, I received jointly with the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery, the following document: • North Island Weather Events: Progress Update on Categorisation and Buyouts, Sediment and Debris, 11 July 2024 I also received briefings from the Policy Advisory Group, a business unit of DPMC, during the requested timeframe however I am not releasing the titles of these briefings. Furthermore, staff in my office may informally receive documents, including draft documents, from my officials in DPMC and from other agencies, and from Ministers’ offices.
