44031 (2024). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: What were the reasons, if any, for children and their families choosing not to participate in the pilot military-style academy, if any?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised by Oranga Tamariki that if participation did not progress it is likely that, as part of the Family Group Conference, it was determined the Pilot was not the right option for the young person and/or their family.
