Hon Louise Upston: When arriving at a decision, I was cognisant of the full range of views regarding the minimum wage exemption, acknowledging varying views from different stakeholders and organisations. I note that public discourse on the minimum wage exemption has occurred over many years, in which stakeholders and organisations have expressed their views publicly and directly with Members of Parliament. As noted in my answer to WPQ 39550 (2024), there was no formal or explicit consultation process, so it is inappropriate to specify particular organisations or stakeholders.
