Hon Mark Mitchell: I refer the Member to the attached table, which shows the number of Police Support Unit (PSU) staff between 27 November 2023 and 30 June 2024 by month. Although it is every Police employee’s duty to apply the guiding principles and functions set out in the Policing Act 2008, PSU staff are specifically trained and tasked with maintaining public order.
