Hon Simon Watts: Restoring market confidence in the New Zealand Emissions Trading Scheme (NZ ETS) is a key objective for the Government. My view of market confidence is informed by a variety of advice and information that I receive from officials on the Scheme, my engagement with ETS market stakeholders, and my observations of the market and market commentary.
