43933 (2024). Hon Rachel Brooking to the Minister for Land Information: Will the Minister rule out changing the right of land-owners to appeal to the Environment Court when their land is subject to compulsory acquisition under the Public Works Act, and if not, why not?

Hon Chris Penk: I will consider a range of options to modernise the PWA to make it easier to build infrastructure, while being cognisant of policy choices on property rights and environmental outcomes.
