Hon Mark Mitchell: As the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery, I regularly request and receive advice from officials on matters relating to my Emergency Management and Recovery portfolio. I received the following documents from officials in the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) between 1-5 September 2025: • Operational Recovery Weekly Status Report_ Upper South Island Severe Weather Event 2025, -4 September, 4 September 2025 • 2025.09.05 Status Report to the Minister for EM and Recovery, 4 September 2025. I also received four additional documents within the specified timeframe; however, it is not in the public interest to release the title of this document. In addition, staff in my office may informally receive documents, including draft documents, from officials in NEMA and Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and from other agencies, and from Ministers’ offices.
