43806 (2024). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister for Infrastructure: What advice, briefings, aide memories or papers, if any, has the Minister received on City Deals related to the National Infrastructure Plan since 27 November 2023?

Hon Chris Bishop: The Minister of Local Government is leading work to develop city and regional deals. In January this year, I received a briefing from the NZ Infrastructure Commission / Te Waihanga that outlines some early thinking about city and regional deals [TW-2024-333 refers] and how these might relate to a national infrastructure plan.
